Climate Goals & Accountability

In 2025, Biocogent established greenhouse gas reduction targets that reflect our commitment to minimizing our carbon footprint and holding ourselves accountable to recognized global standards.

Our climate goals align with the United Nations Net-Zero Coalition and the 1.5°C pathway of the Paris Agreement, including:

• 100% reduction of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2050, from a 2024 base year
• Commitment to tracking and reducing Scope 3 emissions across our value chain

These targets reinforce our belief that climate responsibility and business integrity go hand in hand.

Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG)

Biocogent believes sustainability is achieved through continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability, on an integrated front, comprising environmental protection, economic health and social development. To ensure we are consistently raising the bar, we actively participate in respected external initiatives that evaluate and strengthen our sustainability performance.

Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)

Since 2021, Biocogent has participated in the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the world’s largest environmental disclosure system for companies, cities, and states. Our 2025 CDP submission received a ‘B’ grade, reflecting our encouraging progress and ongoing commitment to climate transparency.

EcoVadis

Biocogent’s sustainability performance is regularly evaluated by EcoVadis, a globally recognized provider of sustainability ratings and insights. As of 2024, Biocogent has earned a Gold rating, recognizing strong performance across:

Supplier Leadership on Climate Transition (LoCT)

In Fall 2025, Biocogent completed the Supplier Leadership on Climate Transition (LoCT) program – an initiative that unites companies and industry leaders to address the challenge of reducing Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions.

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

Biocogent has aligned its sustainability initiatives with five United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that reflect both our values and our responsibility as a biotechnology company.

Because water is the primary ingredient in many products we enable, protecting life below water is a core priority for Biocogent. Healthy aquatic ecosystems are essential to long-term environmental and economic sustainability.

Biocogent is committed to responsible sourcing practices that help protect terrestrial ecosystems. Through strict ingredient standards and a focus on transparency, we work to minimize deforestation, habitat destruction and environmental degradation.
