One of the many sources of damage our skin receives from the environment is through UV rays, UVA and UVB. These rays impact our skin, inflicting genetic damage onto our skin cells in the form of what’s known as a thymidine dimer. This is damaging to our DNA replication and gene expression. Biocogent has developed a product, DermalRx FSE that helps ameliorate these effects by stimulating a naturally occuring process that will remove damaged DNA and replace it with correct functional components.
